Loot a Burning House for Success

In war, and in love, such is the nature of human affairs. This is especially true in the markets. If you want success, you need to take advantage.

When a country is beset by internal conflicts, when disease and famine ravage the population, when corruption and crime are rampant, then it will be unable to deal with an outside threat. This is the time to attack. Keep gathering internal information about an enemy. If the enemy is currently in its weakest state ever, attack it without mercy and totally destroy it to prevent future troubles.

At the beginning of October the S&P 500 lost about 200 hundred points and quickly stabilized. A small market correction, extremely common for the experienced investor. Market corrections are natural to a free market economy, and is a daily part of our lives.

If I ate a celery for every fearmongering article in this past month, I’d be fucking fat.

All of the analysts, and news articles are written by children. Children so accustomed to watching prices rise that they forget the nature of markets. Any little budge, and the whole house seems like its on fire. With the Internet and ever increasing public access (Apps), the market is dominated by clueless who buy high (FOMO) and sell low (PANIC). These people have no success.

Fomo: Fear of Missing Out

This indicates there are too many CLUELESS people who have their stupid money in stupid stocks. This is a horribly bad time to buy into the market as countless companies are overvalued, and prices are due to an even larger correction next year. The Federal Reserve has been slowly raising interest rates, whose effects have a lead time of two years.

Clients which I work with are slowly moving their investments into safer vehicles. While no one can tell when the market will crash, it is not a matter of if, but when.

Buy when there’s blood in the streets…

With so much BULLSHIT going on in the markets, keep your money in your wallets. This is the best investment advice I can give to the small pocket investor.

Wait for the market to crash, then buy as much as you can.

The stock market is the only place where you will want to jump off a cliff when everyone is standing back. The simple truth is this, POOR INVESTORS DON’T HAVE PATIENCE. Every rich and successful investor I know, bought during the depression/recession. Now they are now raking in their profits. Anyone coming into the market today is FAR TOO LATE.

So wait your turn. Loot the burning house when it is on fire, buy when the market has crashed. Quietly keep your money in your pocket and unleash it at the right time.

Invest while your neighbors are losing their mortgages.

Invest while businesses are dying.

Invest while executives jump off their high rises.

Invest while your friends lose their jobs.

The LESSON: Loot a Burning House.

This is the harsh truth. It sounds devious, evil, and downright wrong, but it is the ONLY TRUTH for success in the stock market. Everything else is a mere analysis.
